Possible applications

The agricultural sectors ever growing need for autonomous machines to replace labour intensive conventional tractors is increasing demand for electric final drives. Emerging and existing OEM’s of autonomous field machines need compact power dense electric motors. Both construction and agricultural sectors need electric drives that address weight, cost and power density issues.

Mini excavators

Zero emissions and low noise make electric telehandlers versatile enough for just about any situation including enclosed spaces. Low running costs and high performance make them a very serious option.

Skid steer

Lower noise makes electric skid steers ideal for domestic settings such as landscaping; and a long working time means they can do a day's work on a charge. All this with less maintenance, fewer daily checks and lower running costs.

Wacker plates

Compact, quiet, clean and easy to work with. The lack of exhaust emissions means electric wacker plates can be used in enclosed areas too, making them even more versatile.

Vibratory hammers

Electric vibro hammers offer easier maintenance, lower unwanted vibration, smoother running, quieter and cleaner.

Compact tractors

Their lower running costs and high reliability make them extremely versatile. Quietness of operation makes these vehicles ideal for use among livestock too and the one usual compromise with EVs, some added weight is actually a benefit.

Harvestors

Apart from the opportunity for full automation, electric harvesters offer all the usual benefits of EV's - the lower maintenance and running costs along with noise reduction and zero emissions.

New generation electric motor

Reduce the use of rare earth materials by circa 60%, increase the cross sectional area of copper used without generating negative eddy currents and reduce the use of laminated motor iron by circa 60% to 70%.

Controller performance without compromise

ETA motors and controllers provide the opportunity to reduce the costly stored energy through a greater understanding duty cycles. 98% motor controller efficiency allows OEM’s to choose between a smaller battery (and thus lower cost) with similar range to today’s offerings or similar battery output and extended range.
