PRESS RELEASE
9th April, 2026
ETA Green Power enters the launch phase of the ETA-MODEL 20, a next-generation integrated electric powertrain system designed to redefine efficiency, performance, and simplicity for electric vehicles across global markets.
ETA Green Power has developed the ETA- MODEL 20 as a fully integrated 3-in-1 solution, combining motor, controller, and charger into a single compact unit. Designed in the UK, licenced or manufactured in-house, the system delivers a highly optimised, scalable solution for OEMs seeking improved performance, lower costs, and simplified integration..
Engineered for Performance and Efficiency
The ETA-MODEL 20 system has been developed to push the boundaries of electric powertrain optimisation. Key performance highlights include:
- 92% peak system efficiency
- Up to 10,000 RPM motor speed, exceeding typical market alternatives
- Up to 37% gradeability at GVW, supporting demanding operating conditions
- Significantly reduced noise, vibration, and harmonics for smoother operation
- Advanced thermal management, maintaining high performance even in extreme environments
The system is designed for vehicles with gross vehicle weights ranging from 300 kg to 2,500 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of applications across urban and commercial mobility.
Compact, Lightweight, and Cost-Effective
With a total system weight of just 13.5 kg, including the onboard charger, the ETA- MODEL 20 is substantially lighter than conventional systems, which typically weigh up to 20 kg. Its compact footprint, approximately 20% smaller in volume, enables greater design flexibility for OEMs.
By integrating multiple components into a single unit, ETA Green Power reduces the need for complex wiring, lowers thermal losses, and simplifies supply chains. This results in:
- 32.5% reduction in system weight
- 20% lower overall vehicle-level costs
- Fewer components and reduced vendor complexity
- Improved reliability through single-system ownership
Sustainable and Future-Ready Design
The ETA-MODEL 20 is engineered without the use of heavy rare earth elements (HREE) such as terbium and dysprosium, ensuring greater supply chain stability and reducing exposure to geopolitical risks. This approach supports a more sustainable and resilient electric mobility ecosystem.
Manufactured in India with a focus on durability and real-world conditions, the system is built to perform reliably across diverse and challenging environments, with IP67-rated protection for enhanced durability.
A New Standard for OEM Integration
ETA Green Power’s vertically integrated approach, from design and development to manufacturing, provides OEMs with a one-stop solution that ensures quality, predictability, and seamless system integration.
“The ETA-MODEL 20 is not just a product, it’s a platform for the future of electric mobility,” added Alex Bamberg. “By reducing complexity while increasing performance, we are enabling our partners to accelerate time-to-market and deliver better vehicles to their customers.”
With the launch of the ETA-MODEL 20, ETA Green Power reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric design, setting a new benchmark for integrated EV powertrain solutions worldwide.
In parallel with the launch, ETA Green Power is currently in the midst of a funding round to support its next phase of growth and global expansion. The introduction of the ETA-MODEL 20 significantly broadens the company’s addressable market, opening up new opportunities beyond traditional automotive applications, including marine, off-road, and on-road sectors. With its compact, integrated architecture and high-performance capabilities, the platform is well positioned to meet the evolving demands of multiple electrification segments, enabling OEMs across industries to accelerate their transition to clean, efficient electric powertrains.
